5 types of video content for your business

Would you love to start using video in your marketing but you’re not sure where to start?

Videos have been shown to keep visitors on your website for longer, increase engagement on social media and boost your ROI on paid advertising by as much as 10x! But there’s so many types of video content it can be daunting to know where to start. I’m excited to share the 5 types of video content I am now creating for my business clients.

  1. Interview Video

Introduce your business to a wider audience with a 45-60 second brand video. An interview video gives your ideal clients an insight into how you can help them and what sets you apart from your competitors. They end with a clear call to action: whether that’s to visit your website, come follow you on social or sign up for your latest freebie.

Interview videos are perfect for

🔸1. Engaging visitors to your website thereby boosting your SEO

🔸2. Increasing post engagement on Facebook & Instagram

🔸3. Boosting your ROI on paid advertising by as much as 10x (!!)

2. Background Video

Background videos show you in your element. They are perfect for website banners or Facebook covers and give your audience a behind the scenes view of you & your brand.  To create a background video, I capture video clips at the same time as I am capturing your brand photos, most clients don't even notice!

3. Time Lapse Video

Time Lapse videos show a scene unfolding. They are formed using dozens (or hundreds) of photos and melding them into video format. These are a great way to share behind the scene action of you at work:

- think designing a space if you're an interior designer

- prepping a healthy meal if your business is in wellness

- or putting together a vision board if you're a life coach

They are also a playful way to bring more of your personal life to your feed!

4. Stop Motion Video

Similar to Time Lapses, Stop motion videos are created by melding dozens (or hundreds) of photos into a video format. But with Stop Motions, one element is changed in each frame.  This gives the impression of something unfolding on its own. I love using these with companies who have physical products!

5. Instagram Reels

Instagram Reels are part of a new upgrade to Instagram. In these short video clips, you can share tips or educational content with your audience. They’re a great and engaging way to connect with your audience. See one of my recent Reels here!

BONUS Video Content: Mini Personality Videos

These are almost like moving photographs. These videos are short and sweet and give more personality to your posts or website than photos alone.

No matter how you use video, you’ll quickly find it’s a powerful way to connect more deeply with your audience💕

I can’t wait to speak with you about how you can elevate YOUR brand with video ⭐️
